Farmers Markets & Farm Stores
Dozens of small farms dot the Shenandoah Valley, where the rolling hills support a range of micro-climates. These unique growing areas produce a surprisingly extensive range of fruits and vegetables. You’ll find produce that is fresh and flavor-packed at farmers markets and farm stores across Rockbridge County, particularly from late spring through early fall. The markets also sell eggs, meat, poultry, plants, crafts, and household items, from lotions to soaps to yarns. Numerous farm stores and stands can be found along the North Rockbridge Trail.
