<p><strong>Indoor Venues</strong></p><p>For an entertaining evening show, check the <a href="https://my.wlu.edu/lenfest-center/current-season" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">calendar</a> for the <strong>Lenfest Center for the Arts</strong> at Washington &amp; Lee. During the academic year the university hosts plays, concerts, ballet and dance performances, and lectures by nationally and internationally known speakers. All are open to the public and many are free.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>Southern Virginia University hosts four student-produced works annually in Chandler Hall.</p><p><br></p><p>Several restaurants in Lexington also have weekly live music. In winter, acoustic acts complement the dining scene on Wednesday nights in the Patton Room at <strong>Taps</strong> in the Georges Hotel. The musical acts play on the patio in warmer months. Piano tunes keep the mood upbeat at <strong>Haywood's Bar &amp; Grill</strong>, also at the Georges. Bands rock the house at <strong>Brew Ridge Taps</strong> on Saturday nights. Check their calendar for karaoke.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Outdoor Shows</strong></p><p>Live music in Rockbridge County is often backdropped by beautiful scenery.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>On Sunday afternoons from spring through fall you can enjoy acoustic bands, part of the <em>Uncorked</em> music series at <strong>Rockbridge Vineyard &amp; Brewery</strong>. Local bands also play outdoors regularly at <strong>Great Valley Farm Brewery &amp; Winery</strong> in Natural Bridge. Check their Facebook page for details.&nbsp;From late May through early October. You can also enjoy live music most Saturday afternoons at <strong>Ecco Adesso Vineyards</strong> during their warm weather Live Music in The Meadow series. Check their Facebook page for more information.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Lime Kiln Theater</strong> hosts national and up-and-coming acts in its 675-seat Bowl, which is the main stage at a turn-of-the-century limestone quarry and kiln just outside downtown.</p>
The Lenfest Center for the Arts is a facility designed to accommodate and present performing arts including theater, dance and music. Visit the website for a complete list of performances. TAPS is our lobby lounge serving upscale pub fare. Menu includes craft beer, creative cocktails, salads, sandwiches, and snacks made with many of our favorite ingredients from farms throughout the Shenandoah Valley. Delivery available after 5pm.

On-site we have 24 different wines available for sale plus six beers on tap at our new small-batch brewery and tap room. We also have a gift shop and several types of cheeses, crackers, and salami for sale. The cheeses include fresh Chevré, cheddar cheese balls, and local cheese form Mt. View Farm.
